The perfect place for me. Free Wi-Fi, parking, airport shuttle, and a jacuzzi. The staff's sweet attitude towards my old parents on our first stay is unforgettable. Can't wait to come back for the weekend.

I felt myself at home...
You must know before going to Christchurch: the earthquake severally destroied Christchurch downtown... That is actually closed... So the hostel is located about 30 min walking from cbd... Aos brasileiros: aconselho nao passar por Christchurch se possivel... todos os pontos turisticos da cidade ou estao fechados ou quase que abandonados...

I had an amazing time at this place! The owners were so lovely, and the atmosphere was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was super convenient, with local shops nearby. The facilities were top-notch and the place was warm and comfortable. Whether you're traveling alone or with family or friends, there are plenty of options to suit everyone. I will definitely be staying here again!

The staff was helpful in attending to my problem of not being able to sleep in a room with many drinking men with strong drinking breath.
The price quoted for the airport transfer was inaccurate. Website said it was 15 dollars but shuttle driver demanded 20 dollars

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The beds were big and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed, making it easy to prepare meals. I also loved the beautiful lawn area outside, perfect for relaxing in the sun with a book. The bonus was the jacuzzi and sauna, which provided ultimate relaxation after a long day. The staff were incredibly attentive and caring, making me feel right at home. They were always available to assist and had excellent knowledge of the area.
I highly recommend this hotel to family and friends due to its fantastic location within walking distance of the city centre. The service was top-notch, and the room amenities were excellent.

This particular week Ch Ch accom was full, so I needed to "back packer" it,I am a business director and found the change of accom "style" to be very enjoyable with meeting lots of people and some are now freinds..being the highlight
I feel at $110 per night I was paying a top rate, perhaps a towel in the room would have been nice. Perhaps check in staff recognize biz travelers and Waiver the key deposit thing.. Just a pain.. Perhaps the kitchen equipment could get some investment. Stove Hot rings, pots ,fry pans etc could be replaced. ( some are passed there use by date)

if you charge more than 100 $ for a night, you should not be not around, when or if shit happens.

It was clean and the grounds were well maintained.
It was a bit noisy at night, people drinking on the verandahs until 3am, also it was a bit expensive, my room had a bed and that was it, for the same money I stayed at The Gateway Motel in Picton and had t.v, ensuite, clean towels, toiletries and a kitchen. I know ones in the city and ones not, but.....
